Ol’ Bart Southern Eats was created out of passion and necessity. When Bart Likes started this journey he had lost his mother, his job, and was sure his dog was about to die. It was a true country song playing out in the real world. Like most songs, Bart’s path in life had a turning point. He was given an opportunity to cook for 50 outdoor professionals at a private hunting lodge in Arkansas. It was with that successful opportunity that he realized his true love for cooking, food, and fellowship. Everyone has a story to tell. Ol’ Bart is best known for his barbecue. He blends his Memphis roots with true Post Oak Texas style bbq to create a flavor profile that is truly unique. His passion for cooking allows him to offer a vast array of menu options.

Bart found a way to target the outdoor industry and its need for authentic catering services, and his business has grown tremendously since that first cooking gig. He has had a chance to cook for hunting, fishing, and music professionals. He’s travelled to outdoor festivals and private events all over the country. In 2019 alone, Chef Bart was able to cook for over 50,000 people. He is an avid outdoorsman who has industry partnerships with Traeger Grills, Drake Waterfowl, FireDisc Cookers, Realtree Outdoors, as well as numerous hunting and fishing lodges around the world. These relationships allow him to have access to opportunities that aren’t normally available to people in the food industry.
